Brent's post surgery doctor's visit went very well. Dr. Currie says the leg is healing properly and that we should be looking to start the process for a temporary prothesis in a few short weeks. Brent is working out and doing rehab as he should but is also getting bored (which is a good sign that he is feeling better). If he gets up too much the leg does hurt and the phantom pain is relieved by rubbing, massaging, or vibrating, so he got a neck massager that he can put around his leg. That helps at night and also keeps him from having to take very much medication.
Breanne is still very tired and sick from the mono but I can see a gradual improvement.
And to top it all off, our 8 year old lab, Shadow, died this week. But as Brent always says "It could be worse." I hope not. hahahaha
